IMG_0980IMG_3724.JPGDid you know there’s a large Indonesian population in Hong Kong? They’re the 2nd largest ethnic minority next to Filipinos and largely work as domestic workers (according to my friends at CNN Hong Kong this is due to high demand across socioeconomic classes for housekeepers). On Sundays many turn out on their day off to hang outdoors with their friends near Victoria Park rain or shine. We came upon a group performing a traditional Indonesian horse dance, drinking buckets of juice, and having a lovely picnic. I love their head pieces and this boss lady’s outfit.
